After 13 played minutes MILAN got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Manciulea. Szymon Erland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jüri Luik went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Jüri Luik came free, but Szymon Erland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanio O'Down stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Kornaszewski's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jüri Luik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Gollob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Szymon Erland made a huge save. In the 34th minute of the match Jagiellonia got a corner. MILAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wlodzimierz Ziomkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tanio O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Kornaszewski in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Zyskowski got free with Szymon Erland in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, MILAN's Guillermo Astozas tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezary Gollob to make the kick off. Szymon Erland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jüri Luik, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jüri Luik in the 55th minute of play forced MILAN's goalkeeper Szymon Erland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Erland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Gollob in the 61st minute of the match. If Sebastian Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jüri Luik came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Jagiellonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jüri Luik couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia's Sava Virgin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tanio O'Down made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkem Ünveren in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jagiellonia fans cheered their team off the field, for while MILAN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
