Zygmunt Logewnik was slow to take the kick. During this time Metro Fan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Metro Fan's Zygmunt Logewnik to fire away a dangerous shot which Wawrzyniec Dzierwa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Basaik in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Przybylo came free, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slawomir Cisek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Cestarolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Wasyl Basaik could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Wawrzyniec Dzierwa however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Metro Fan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Rogers Sosnowiec:s goal. Slawomir Cisek had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Patrick Cestarolli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. FC Rogers Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Metro Fan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ksawery Bielatowicz took the corner. In the 29th minute Eugeniusz Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Cisek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Metro Fan's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Cwojdak came free, but Slawomir Cisek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcin Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Slawomir Cisek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Zachariasz Poremba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metro Fan the free kick. Zachariasz Poremba hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wasyl Basaik made a kick off. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Basaik in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Basaik in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Pyczkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Cestarolli in the 62nd minute of play forced Metro Fan's goalkeeper Slawomir Cisek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Przybylo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Dzierwa saved FC Rogers Sosnowiec from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Basaik in the 65th minute of play forced FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Slawomir Cisek threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eugeniusz Cwojdak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th match minute, Metro Fan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Pawlak to maneuver through the defense. FC Rogers Sosnowiec made a substitution. Antoni Milko replaced Patrick Cestarolli. The supporters of FC Rogers Sosnowiec booed when Metro Fan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Basaik in the 82nd minute of play. Ksawery Bielatowicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Slawomir Cisek. Metro Fan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute, Antoni Milko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rogers Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Rogers Sosnowiec eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
