In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metro Fan's goalkeeper Slawomir Cisek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slawomir Cisek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Nuxila's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute of the game, Ulryk Marciewicz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 24th match minute, Kanalie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shurwayne Bradley to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ercan Valencia got free with Slawomir Cisek in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Metro Fan getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zygmunt Logewnik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Nuxila in the 35th minute of play forced Metro Fan's goalkeeper Slawomir Cisek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shurwayne Bradley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Slawomir Cisek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute, Cezary Rykaczewski made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Bugno. Kanalie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Shurwayne Bradley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Cisek having to interfere. Slawomir Cisek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shurwayne Bradley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wasyl Basaik to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kanalie's zone, Wasyl Basaik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Bugno came out of the goal and Wasyl Basaik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Wasyl Basaik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Bugno. Kanalie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasyl Basaik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 58th minute Aquilino Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Cisek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Bugno made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wasyl Basaik sent off a good shot on target. Ercan Valencia succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 65 minutes into the match, Aquilino Nuxila notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Metro Fan's Slawomir Cisek. Slawomir Cisek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercan Valencia in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slawomir Cisek saved Metro Fan from getting behind. Slawomir Cisek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Nuxila in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Aquilino Nuxila made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Metro Fan's Slawomir Cisek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Waclaw Przybylo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Bugno. The Metro Fan fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Metro Fan's Wasyl Basaik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aquilino Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Cisek having to interfere. Slawomir Cisek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shurwayne Bradley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Cisek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kanalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kanalie fully deserved thier win.
