The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermanno Puglielli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tanek Bochinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Puglielli in the 5th minute of the match. Tanek Bochinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermanno Puglielli went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Bochinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ermanno Puglielli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Bochinski was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Chochoł Bronowice's Tanek Bochinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Puglielli in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengiz Ünder in the 16th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Roch Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roch Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengiz Ünder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match Wisła Kraków got a corner. Chochoł Bronowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Rochedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wisła Kraków's Roch Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Czeszyk in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Combarros to maneuver through the defense. Chochoł Bronowice's Abraham Valckeneers was substituted for Radomir Rzeszutek. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Nilson de Azevedo with Gerard Roulin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Afonso Rochedo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Bochinski. Tanek Bochinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 42 minutes, Hugon Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wisła Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugon Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chochoł Bronowice's goalkeeper Tanek Bochinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tanek Bochinski was a little too slow when Ermanno Puglielli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Puglielli in the 61st minute of play forced Chochoł Bronowice's goalkeeper Tanek Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Puglielli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Ermanno Puglielli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tanek Bochinski, 0-6. In the 73rd minute, Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After a rather tough play, Wisła Kraków's Cornelio Combarros got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gilbert Czeszyk struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Roch Zdeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chochoł Bronowice. Tanek Bochinski made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ermanno Puglielli sent off a good shot on target. Tanek Bochinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermanno Puglielli in the 85th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Ermanno Puglielli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Tanek Bochinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno Puglielli got free with Tanek Bochinski in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryszard Mochadlo got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Concetto Pugliese. The crowd rose to their feet as Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanek Bochinski. That made the score 0-9 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wisła Kraków had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
