Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Bondel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Huracán Varsovia's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Rurin came free, but Bruno Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Devils's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Di Quan in the 23rd minute of play. Gustavo Severiano hit a great ball. If Igor Iwanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when He Di Quan made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Orszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Gilabert in the 54th minute of play forced Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Devils's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
