Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olgierd Kowalski in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wlodzimierz Osielski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Estrela. Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Walczyk in the 19th minute of the match. Miromir Lichorobiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zbyszko Leper made a huge save. In the 21st minute of the match Shaolin soccer got a corner. BYDGOSTIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Buczak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Zgonina came free, but Wlodzimierz Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Lindström in the 27th minute of play. Patryk Zgonina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Osielski having to interfere. BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Walczyk made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Miromir Lichorobiec notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper. Zbyszko Leper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wlodzimierz Osielski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicklas Lindström in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Patryk Zgonina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Osielski. Shaolin soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patryk Zgonina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, BYDGOSTIA's Wlodzimierz Osielski threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patryk Zgonina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Fabio-Roman Cannavaro replaced Mariusz Warka. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Olgierd Kowalski. After 70 minutes Shaolin soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Bochynski who took care of the corner kick. Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Shaolin soccer from getting a goal against them. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bochynski in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Osielski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcin Prusinowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicklas Lindström got free with Wlodzimierz Osielski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Patryk Zgonina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wlodzimierz Osielski. The goal made the score 1-2. BYDGOSTIA's Yu Ran Fan was substituted for Nicklas Lindström. 87 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Prusinowski came free, but Wlodzimierz Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BYDGOSTIA played a much better game than Shaolin soccer and deserved their victory. The Shaolin soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
