Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Gierasik in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Erik Lang in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wlodzimierz Osielski saved Shaolin soccer from getting behind. Bielskie Nadzieje were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Shaolin soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zbyszek Gierasik took the corner. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Gierasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Herbert Walczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Lang in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Debowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marian Debowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miromir Lichorobiec went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Nils-Erik Lang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes Shaolin soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zbyszek Gierasik who took care of the corner kick. Ronaldinho Dos Santos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Herbert Walczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Dos Santos got free with Wlodzimierz Osielski in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Slawomir Oliszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Buczak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marian Debowski. Bielskie Nadzieje's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Witalis Perkowski hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Herbert Walczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shaolin soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bielskie Nadzieje the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Shaolin soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Walczyk to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Maksymilian Mirowski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Dos Santos in the 48th minute of play forced Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bielskie Nadzieje made a substitution. Mikolaj Giertych replaced Maksymilian Mirowski. The wind increased when Herbert Walczyk made the kick off in the second half. Miromir Lichorobiec struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marian Debowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shaolin soccer. Bielskie Nadzieje's Marian Debowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Bielskie Nadzieje from getting a goal against them. After 59 played minutes Shaolin soccer got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Krzynowek. In the 68th minute, Ronaldinho Dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bielskie Nadzieje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Marian Debowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Lichorobiec in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Miromir Lichorobiec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marian Debowski. The goal made the score 2-2. After a rather tough play, Bielskie Nadzieje's Nils-Erik Lang got a free kick in the 79th minute. Miromir Lichorobiec might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Debowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miromir Lichorobiec ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Bielskie Nadzieje's goalkeeper Marian Debowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Lichorobiec. If Sylwester Filipowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylwester Filipowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wlodzimierz Osielski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Lichorobiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Marian Debowski made a huge save. After having played for 95 minutes, Sylwester Filipowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bielskie Nadzieje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Filipowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bielskie Nadzieje players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
