But to his dismay, Ted Lasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Borys Poreda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ted Lasso sped through Victoria Toruń's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Borys Poreda. Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 45 minutes, Jakub Lukowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Toruń and the Wittbach SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Victoria Toruń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Lukowski to maneuver through the defense. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Lasso in the 63rd minute of play. If Zhu Yan Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute.
