Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Wittbach SSA from getting a goal against them. Oskar Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Ikalewicz in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F.'s Dominik Gorzkiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ján Oblak. Ján Oblak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jedrzej Ikalewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Svensson having to interfere. Ján Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Munko, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Jedrzej Ikalewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dominik Gorzkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ján Oblak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wittbach SSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
