Ulryk Merski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Waldemar Petka notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, FC Stoners's goalkeeper Yann Sommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Merski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Simonot in the 12th minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match FC Stoners got a corner. 2kC Poznań's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeusz Olejasz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to FC Stoners getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mieszko Skoroda hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Zbigniew Zaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Marek Buczko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the FC Stoners players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marek Buczko hit a great ball. Yann Sommer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Merski in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Edgar Turak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, FC Stoners's Tadeusz Olejasz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Stoners reached it. In the 30th minute, Janusz Pusiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janusz Pusiak kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Stoners booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Dembowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Petka came free, but Tadeusz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Jaktorowo in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Stoners's Filip Zawadzki got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ulryk Merski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Yann Sommer made a huge save. Tytus Dylla's late challenge caught a FC Stoners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tytus Dylla helped the player get up and apologised. Tytus Dylla hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Jaktorowo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Merski in the 50th minute of play forced FC Stoners's goalkeeper Yann Sommer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th minute Waldemar Petka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Zachary Plaski replaced Stanislaw Kisielka. Janusz Pusiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yann Sommer having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Janusz Pusiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yann Sommer was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Youri Simonot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Rutkowski made a huge save. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Deyna in the 80th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Stoners's Edward Jaktorowo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeusz Rutkowski. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kazimierz Deyna in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Rutkowski saved 2kC Poznań from getting behind. When Lucjan Sokol came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the 2kC Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Sokol couldn't finish the play. Janusz Pusiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yann Sommer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Jaktorowo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over FC Stoners could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 2kC Poznań throughout the match.
