The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, FC Stoners's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pusiak came free, but Yann Sommer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Marek Buczko a yellow card for diving instead. FC Stoners made a substitution. Kazimierz Deyna replaced Waldemar Petka. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Deyna in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes in the game, Kazimierz Deyna dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol was substituted for Ulryk Merski. Lucjan Sokol struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Yann Sommer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. FC Stoners's Cyprian Merski was substituted for Kajetan Galus. Yann Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 70th minute of the match. Janusz Pusiak struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on 2kC Poznań's corner Edgar Turak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yann Sommer quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 2kC Poznań walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
