But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Domin couldn't finish the play. Cyprian Gizynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anselm Trumpf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karpaty Krosno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcin Galaska in the 9th minute. The corner led Karpaty Krosno's Marcin Galaska to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselm Trumpf despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Banshee FC's Korneliusz Walaszkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselm Trumpf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Bielecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Kosmatka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Maurycy's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Walaszkiewicz came free, but Gustaw Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Bielecki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Anselm Trumpf when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Wiktor Maurycy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaw Kosmatka. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Maurycy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wawrzyniec Bielecki in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselm Trumpf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wawrzyniec Bielecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Banshee FC booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Wyrostek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Bielecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banshee FC made a substitution. In the 71st match minute, Karpaty Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Juszkowski to maneuver through the defense. Boruc Zacharzewski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wawrzyniec Bielecki in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselm Trumpf saved Banshee FC from getting behind.
