The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pawel Brysz took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Puma Białystok were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Inter Milano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafal Cichocki took the corner. The corner led FC Puma Białystok's Fryderyk Bochinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Wasyl Pietras despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wasyl Pietras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Mikolaj Pietrasz took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Pietras. Wasyl Pietras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wasyl Pietras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Puma Białystok fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when FC Puma Białystok's Pawel Brysz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wasyl Pietras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Brysz in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Atilla Bumin Rıdvan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Milano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Puma Białystok the free kick. Wasyl Pietras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Pietrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Pawel Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Pietras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Inter Milano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Pegiadis to maneuver through the defense. Wasyl Pietras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Pietrasz in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fryderyk Plech during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Inter Milano got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Plech. When Fryderyk Plech was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Inter Milano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Puma Białystok:s goal. Inter Milano:s Wasyl Pietras showed great skill when he stopped Pawel Brysz:s penalty. In the 42nd minute, Pawel Brysz made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Pietras. Inter Milano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Inter Milano's Alberigo Di Lullo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half FC Puma Białystok were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucrețiu Zmărăndescu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Di Lullo in the 51st minute of play forced FC Puma Białystok's goalkeeper Christian Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Ryszard Bobrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Brysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wasyl Pietras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Vincent Welch fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Puma Białystok's protests and gave Vincent Welch a yellow card for diving instead. Alberigo Di Lullo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Remigiusz Brzakala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Milano and the FC Puma Białystok players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inter Milano's Wasyl Pietras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Inter Milano from getting a goal against them. Wasyl Pietras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Pietrasz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Pietras. Inter Milano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolaj Pietrasz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 67th minute, Pawel Brysz made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Pietras. Inter Milano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 69 minutes in the game, Pawel Brysz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wasyl Pietras having to interfere. After 72 minutes Inter Milano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafal Cichocki who took care of the corner kick. Christian Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manos Pegiadis in the 75th minute of the match. Christian Byström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manos Pegiadis went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute Atilla Bumin Rıdvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Inter Milano's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Pietrasz came free, but Wasyl Pietras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Pawel Brysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikolaj Pietrasz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Wasyl Pietras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mikolaj Pietrasz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Puma Białystok's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
