Adam Matysek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Pusiak's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Willem-Jan Dittman's late challenge caught a 2kC Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Janusz Pusiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Matysek was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of 2kC Poznań were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Gdansk36 side.
