Mauro Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Adamus in the 11th minute of play. Mauro Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Majorski in the 30th minute of play. Pawel Madej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Falkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pawel Madej made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Wieslaw Kalak sent off a good shot on target. Olimpia Koło were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Brokopondo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tzonyo Shkodrev took the corner. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Sylwester Majorski put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mauro Esteves. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Blochowiak got free with Pawel Madej in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Cyryl Adamus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Blochowiak. The supporters of Olimpia Koło booed when Brokopondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Olimpia Koło were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyryl Adamus to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Majorski in the 59th minute of play forced Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Sylwester Majorski fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Mauro Esteves. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Olimpia Koło's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Brokopondo made a substitution. Zbyszko Rakowski replaced Tobiasz Derlanga. Yuan Xu Lei was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olimpia Koło! After some careless play in the Olimpia Koło defense, Barnaba Blochowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Madej. The Olimpia Koło fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Madej should have stopped the shot. Olimpia Koło's Pawel Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Kalak in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia Koło's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barnaba Blochowiak was slow to take the kick. During this time Brokopondo's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute of the match, David Skjold got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Esteves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 73 played minutes Brokopondo got a freekick which was hit by Lech Felenak. After 76 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Tzonyo Shkodrev. Tzonyo Shkodrev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Esteves having to interfere. Mauro Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyryl Adamus went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Sylwester Majorski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpia Koło players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brokopondo.
