The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taqi Taqi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Thedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Kliczek&Syn got a corner. Bird FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Kliczek&Syn's corner Kajetan Gregorczyk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sten Thedin quite easily take care of the ball. Kliczek&Syn's Iwan Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Zacharek in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Kliczek&Syn booed when Bird FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Chung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomir Podolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sten Thedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kliczek&Syn's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Furgal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Thedin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iwan Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mel Chung's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes Kliczek&Syn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mel Chung who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Bird FC's corner Mel Chung fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Nakoneczny quite easily take care of the ball. After 76 minutes, Remigiusz Debowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bird FC and the Kliczek&Syn players grew even worse after the yellow card.
