In the 23rd minute Mihai Stratulat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 11ABRASIL booed when GrosseLapingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Puchlik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Katsivalis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marian Chilavert. GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GrosseLapingen's zone, Eusébio Pelé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Chilavert came out of the goal and Eusébio Pelé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Mihai Stratulat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Jacek Peczkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Zoff. 11ABRASIL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Peczkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Tanek Klewinski had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 33 minutes, Juan Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrosseLapingen and the 11ABRASIL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes GrosseLapingen got a freekick which was hit by Juan Hoffmann. With his leg Marian Chilavert managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when 11ABRASIL's German Birila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute Juan Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Juan Hoffmann notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of 11ABRASIL's Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Pelé came free, but Marian Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislaw Lamczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Pluciennik made a kick off. Marian Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Pelé in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, 11ABRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Mello came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Yao Sheng in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in GrosseLapingen's zone, Eusébio Pelé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Chilavert came out of the goal and Eusébio Pelé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Hellgren in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Birila in the 70th minute of play forced GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Pelé in the 76th minute of play. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Peczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Eusébio Pelé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Chilavert was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some careless play in the GrosseLapingen defense, Per Hellgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Chilavert. The GrosseLapingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Chilavert should have stopped the shot. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Stratulat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GrosseLapingen getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Reynaldo Mello hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the GrosseLapingen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 11ABRASIL.
