In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Jacek Peczkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's Shen Yao Sheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Abbiati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GrosseLapingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shen Yao Sheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Hanefi came free, but Marian Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when GrosseLapingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Stratulat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Abbiati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Hoffmann in the 46th minute. After the first half KANONIERZY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Hamza Hanefi to strike the kick off in the second half. GrosseLapingen's Marian Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 50th minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's goalkeeper Marian Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi. 56 minutes into the match, GrosseLapingen's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Hanefi came free, but Marian Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Zbyszek Ferfecki made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. GrosseLapingen's Marian Chilavert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Shen Yao Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by GrosseLapingen's Juan Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Juan Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Hoffmann during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Juan Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marian Sobania came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KANONIERZY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Sobania couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damazy Pietrowiak during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, GrosseLapingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damazy Pietrowiak to maneuver through the defense. The GrosseLapingen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KANONIERZY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
