In the 11th minute of the match, Christian Gabon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jurand Panasewicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 17th minute Andres Iniesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Maikol Colon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon. Borys Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jurand Panasewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamza Erzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Bogdan Malinovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Trefl Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Borówiec the free kick. In the 37th minute, Bogdan Malinovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurand Panasewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiang Fan Di in the 38th minute. Borys Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maikol Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Trefl Gdynia's zone, Hamza Erzan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurand Panasewicz came out of the goal and Hamza Erzan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes FC Trefl Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Andres Iniesta. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maikol Colon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Petka in the 55th minute of play forced FC Trefl Gdynia's goalkeeper Jurand Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute FC Borówiec were awarded a corner. Jiang Fan Di went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Trefl Gdynia's Czeslaw Lisewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Borys Buffon. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. Rupert Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Lisewski notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon. The attack was good, but when Leonard Lenertej in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 95 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goalkeeper Borys Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maikol Colon. Borys Buffon was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Leonard Lenertej capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Lenertej really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Trefl Gdynia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
