The corner led Stomil Łabiszyn's Boguslaw Lamczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Borys Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goalkeeper Borys Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Misiorowski. The supporters of FC Borówiec booed when Stomil Łabiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Schmidt in the 64th minute of play. Comunardo Silvagni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Niemoj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Ciempa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stomil Łabiszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Borówiec the free kick. A collision led to Stomil Łabiszyn getting a freekick after 71 minutes play.
