Barnaba Krzynowek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Kostrzewa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcin Pilipiec went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcin Pilipiec got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Lech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Barnaba Krzynowek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Kostrzewa in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Boruc Pyczkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC IDOLOVIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Boruc Pyczkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Lech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barnaba Krzynowek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Kochanowski went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half The Irons Chorzów were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Damazy Posadzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC IDOLOVIA's Barnaba Krzynowek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Irons Chorzów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pawel Kochanowski in the 53rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Wincent Gruchacz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Boruc Pyczkowski scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piotr Lech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC IDOLOVIA's Barnaba Krzynowek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC IDOLOVIA from getting a goal against them. Alfred Kostrzewa had several of the FC IDOLOVIA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Barnaba Krzynowek as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Posadzki in the 71st minute of play forced FC IDOLOVIA's goalkeeper Barnaba Krzynowek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, The Irons Chorzów's Damazy Posadzki made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaba Krzynowek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Posadzki in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Krzynowek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Chazen, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FC IDOLOVIA were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after The Irons Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcin Pilipiec took the corner. Borys Cisek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Lech having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Alfred Babicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Irons Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC IDOLOVIA the free kick. Marcin Pilipiec's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Piotr Lech - 2-3 was put on the score board in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded The Irons Chorzów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC IDOLOVIA.
