The goalkeeper, Leonard Rosen, was totally fooled by TheLastDance's Addo Schiersand, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. AA Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, TheLastDance's Leonard Rosen threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartosz Furgat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Vitinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TheLastDance's Zachariasz Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho de Barros in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitinho de Barros was the one to do the kick off. Addo Schiersand walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With his leg Zachariasz Kociniewski managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when AA Bełchatów's Vitinho de Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vitinho de Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Zachariasz Kociniewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
