In the 8th minute of the match Legia Warszawa got a corner. Dereczanka SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qiu Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Qiu Yang made a great header on Legia Warszawa's corner, it was just that Dereczanka SA's Romeo Dorio managed to reach the ball for a save. When Leszek Podwojski came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Legia Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Podwojski couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Leonard Kalinowski from a close distance when the talented Zenon Pleban managed to make a qualified save. Legia Warszawa's players were relieved. Dereczanka SA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Milosz Rawa in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Lucian Mihăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Kalinowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Kalinowski in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes Dereczanka SA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qiu Yang who took care of the corner kick. Zenon Pleban made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leonard Kalinowski sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Kalinowski in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Pleban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Podwojski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Martin Stokken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Emil Dresik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dereczanka SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Warszawa the free kick. A collision led to Dereczanka SA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Emil Dresik hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's Qiu Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Dorio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romeo Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislaw Brytan. Legia Warszawa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Stanislaw Brytan scored to the left of an out of position Zenon Pleban, making the score, 1-1. Leonard Kalinowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Zenon Pleban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dereczanka SA made a substitution. Krzysztof Przybylo replaced Stanislaw Brytan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leszek Podwojski made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Karol Tomiczek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dereczanka SA's Romeo Dorio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Lindberg got free with Romeo Dorio in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leszek Podwojski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leszek Podwojski struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Romeo Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Warszawa. Zenon Pleban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Parlik in the 74th minute of the match. Romeo Dorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Kalinowski in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Leszek Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
