After 15 played minutes Czechovitz Czechowice got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Domeradzki. 16 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Giejda came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Hägert might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenon Pleban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Hägert ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hägert in the 27th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacy Panasewicz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Leszek Podwojski sent off a good shot on target. Czechovitz Czechowice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Leszek Podwojski scored to the left of an out of position Ignacy Panasewicz, making the score, 1-1. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Domeradzki in the 36th minute of play. When Xalo Domenech fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czechovitz Czechowice's protests and gave Xalo Domenech a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Czechovitz Czechowice got a freekick which was hit by Xalo Domenech.

In the 51st minute, Teofil Bury reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zenon Pleban. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 57th minute, Czechovitz Czechowice's Teofil Bury ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zenon Pleban. Zenon Pleban yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 62nd minute Leszek Podwojski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Axel Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Legia Warszawa from getting a goal against them. The Czechovitz Czechowice players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
