ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Erling Spottag got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Fanøe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Ulryk Drzewucki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute Jaroslaw Kaczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Drzewucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulryk Drzewucki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 19th minute of play forced ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's goalkeeper Ulryk Drzewucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Ulryk Drzewucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW from getting a goal against them. The ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulryk Drzewucki should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Marajda. ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Ulryk Drzewucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Kaczynski was the one to do the kick off. Ulryk Drzewucki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Fanøe went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Felix Fanøe came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Yara Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Fanøe couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Yara Poland defense, Erling Spottag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartosz Komanski. The Yara Poland fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Yara Poland's Jaroslaw Kaczynski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Ulryk Drzewucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 79th minute of play. Felix Fanøe took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulryk Drzewucki. Ulryk Drzewucki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ulryk Drzewucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartosz Komanski came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Erling Spottag. But to his dismay, Erling Spottag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 94th minute, John Carew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
