Modlau's Jarmo Laik got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry McCray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 28th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Herbert Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominic Salazar scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Tworek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Tworek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarmo Laik's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Aleksander Czerner hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Goodness 杨晨 to make the kick off. Barry McCray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Herbert Tworek made a huge save. Herbert Tworek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry McCray's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Barry McCray lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Herbert Tworek. In the 84th minute Bartosz Iwaszko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Winszman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Winszman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goodness 杨晨 in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Modlau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
