With a little luck, Emeryt Sosnowiec's Cícero Palmeira got control of the ball when Pankracy Birkenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute FC Zalesie Górne were awarded a corner. Pankracy Birkenhagen went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Napoleon Fronczak to score against Cícero Palmeira in Emeryt Sosnowiec's goal. 1-0 after 9 minutes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Birkenhagen got free with Cícero Palmeira in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Fronczak in the 19th minute of play forced Emeryt Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Cícero Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Fronczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Fronczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute FC Zalesie Górne were awarded a corner. Pankracy Birkenhagen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to FC Zalesie Górne's Kajetan Setara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cícero Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Fronczak in the 28th minute of play. If Napoleon Fronczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zenon Lech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witomir Kornatowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kazimierz Czekaj. FC Zalesie Górne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Antal Fodor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Czekaj was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. A collision led to Emeryt Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jan Ciemiega hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Emeryt Sosnowiec's Alexander Helguera was substituted for Antal Fodor. The wind increased when Alexander Helguera made the kick off in the second half. Cícero Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Fronczak in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Zalesie Górne's Antoni Wiatrak got a free kick in the 64th minute. Kazimierz Czekaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Lipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Alexander Helguera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miroslaw Wojno took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Palmeira. Cícero Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cícero Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Wojno, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Cícero Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Wojno's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Emeryt Sosnowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radja Poerwonegoro in the 88th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Emeryt Sosnowiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Zalesie Górne.
