Valērijs Bensons started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Klement Bara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th play minute Jardel Cabezon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klement Bara. 1-0. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Rokita Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara got control of the ball when Jardel Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's attentive Wladyslaw Dytrych managed to snatch the ball when Florian Psotka made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Valērijs Bensons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valērijs Bensons in the 21st minute of play forced MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Wiktor Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klement Bara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 23rd minute. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Jardel Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Bara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Kazimierz Felenak made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Dudkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klement Bara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Bazan went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Valērijs Bensons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wiktor Dudkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Klement Bara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 59th minute of the match. Honorato Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludomil Cebula's late challenge caught a MKS Pogoń Szczecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomil Cebula helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Ludomil Cebula got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Bazan in the 66th minute of play forced Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Klement Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Witold Ciszewski notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara. Klement Bara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rokita Brzeg Dolny made a substitution. Tolek Bugno replaced Wladyslaw Dytrych. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Wiktor Dudkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save MKS Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Wieslaw Dudkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Ovando Vera. In the 89th minute, Valērijs Bensons ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Dudkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Kazimierz Felenak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Dudkowski having to interfere. A collision led to MKS Pogoń Szczecin getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Witold Ciszewski hit a great ball. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
