Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Biegun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Stig-Åke Rosendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Zbytniewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Biegun couldn't finish the play. If István Markos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Roberto Nirvana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucjan Zbytniewski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Nirvana got free with Lucjan Zbytniewski in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Hugon Podowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Harun Mengüer was substituted for Roberto Nirvana. Nadodrze Wrocław made a substitution. Ignacy Jeziorkowski replaced Stevan Rajkovski. In the 88th match minute, Nadodrze Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugon Podowski to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Nadodrze Wrocław's goal looked a bit too open when István Markos came free, but Lucjan Zbytniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliot Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
