After having played for 6 minutes, Skapti Škarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Skapti Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ang Tee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Stipe Pletikosa made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Stig-Åke Rosendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aykut Arslan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Lucky Warriors getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ang Tee hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Rosendahl took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aykut Arslan. Aykut Arslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilbert Wyrzykowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aykut Arslan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stig-Åke Rosendahl. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Rosendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Aykut Arslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Panikowski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Roberto Nirvana was substituted for Stig-Åke Rosendahl. The wind increased when Krzysztof Drozdowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 82nd minute Roberto Nirvana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykut Arslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Nirvana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fortuna 86 Szczecin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
