Roch Puch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Gualterio Richie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Roch Puch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 played minutes AS Monaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Badanowski. AS Monaco FC made a substitution. Jairo Guifre replaced Franciszek Zukowski. A collision led to AS Monaco FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tolek Badanowski hit a great ball. Roch Puch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burak Onal in the 64th minute. Zbyszko Mierzwa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Emil Malik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Guifre in the 67th minute of play. Emil Malik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, AS Monaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaja Tura came free, but Roch Puch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
