Jerzy Mielak was slow to take the kick. During this time Thunderstorm Riders's players had a chance to rest. Thunderstorm Riders's Jerzy Mielak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kim Hänninen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Thunderstorm Riders from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute of the game Mariusz Karanowski made a throw-in which Konrad Resel played forward. 29 minutes into the game, Thunderstorm Riders's Koti Kot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kim Hänninen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Fragleses defense, Koti Kot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim Hänninen. The Fragleses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim Hänninen should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute of the match Thunderstorm Riders got a corner. Fragleses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Mielak ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jerzy Mielak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kim Hänninen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 42nd minute of play. When Thunderstorm Riders's Koti Kot in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fragleses's goalie prevented a goal. Thunderstorm Riders's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerzy Mielak in the 44th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fragleses's goalie and right to Kudret Tüzer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fragleses's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Kim Hänninen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Resel's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Daniel Houseman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Kim Hänninen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kim Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Houseman in the 94th minute of play. Kim Hänninen made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Daniel Houseman sent off a good shot on target.
