In the 8th minute, Derman Cruchet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's zone, Giovanny Van Wontergem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Basaik came out of the goal and Giovanny Van Wontergem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Basaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Basaik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacarias Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derman Cruchet in the 19th minute of play. Giovanny Van Wontergem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Basaik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jan Basaik had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Giovanny Van Wontergem's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Giovanny Van Wontergem did an outstanding performance 31 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Jan Basaik in the goal. James Frankowski charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed James Frankowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Derman Cruchet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Transito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Derman Cruchet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Żuki Gnojarze's Zacarias Transito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zacarias Transito made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Derman Cruchet sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derman Cruchet couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Żuki Gnojarze's Giovanny Van Wontergem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Basaik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lari Sonniks made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Giovanny Van Wontergem immediately put the ball in play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Basaik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanny Van Wontergem got free with Jan Basaik in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Derman Cruchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zacarias Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Giovanny Van Wontergem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Basaik, 3-2. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
