The corner led to Goral Zywiec's Stefan Lewicki getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 26 played minutes Goral Zywiec got a freekick which was hit by Luca De La Torre. Miroslaw Dobilas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Krawczyk having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Danielsson got free with Michael Krawczyk in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goral Zywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Barck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Ewertowski came free, but Beto Santirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sverker Danielsson made the kick off in the second half. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goral Zywiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Wrocanka.
