Mack Oreilly was slow to take the kick. During this time Zawisza Bydgoszcz's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mack Oreilly got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominik Pachucki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ömer Halisdemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Pachucki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Halisdemir ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Pachucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Feliks Wojton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mack Oreilly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Pachucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ömer Halisdemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Pachucki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Halisdemir ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Pachucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Pachucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, KKS Legia Deptaka's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Halisdemir came free, but Dominik Pachucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Ömer Halisdemir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dominik Pachucki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliks Wojton in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Dec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kajetan Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KKS Legia Deptaka made a substitution. Leszek Maziarz replaced Pawel Patora. KKS Legia Deptaka's Florian Iwanowski was substituted for Mateusz Gierlach. After 72 minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lech Pisarcik who took care of the corner kick. Leszek Maziarz made a great header on KKS Legia Deptaka's corner, it was just that Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec managed to reach the ball for a save. Leszek Maziarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dec having to interfere. Dominik Pachucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KKS Legia Deptaka's Leszek Maziarz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the KKS Legia Deptaka players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
