Szczakowianka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Czeslaw Domeracki scored to the left of an out of position Thibaut Courtois, making the score, 1-0. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbin Moreaux in the 13th minute of play. Czeslaw Domerackis short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Thibaut Courtois to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Şota Arveladze took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Thibaut Courtois to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute of the match, Czeslaw Domeracki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thibaut Courtois saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Şota Arveladze sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Perkowski to strike the kick off in the second half.
