But to his dismay, Jan-Åke Fransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Damazy Joks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Zagórna fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when Zagórna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Marek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zagórna's Uluç Tekinalp got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Damazy Joks made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Zagórna got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Fransson. Zagórna made a substitution. Jaroslaw Milko replaced Florian Kapinos. In the 61st minute, Lech Marek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcu Voinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zagórna's Ziemowit Soszka was substituted for Daniel Gerlach. The crowd rose to their feet as Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigel Botescu. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. Zagórna made a substitution. Tiburcio Kiliz replaced Gwidon Arnista. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Fransson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Botescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Damazy Joks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Gniech was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Fransson in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Botescu saved KS Olimpia Warszawa from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Botescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburcio Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zagórna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
