An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Dziuma in the 11th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Dziuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uluç Tekinalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Figueroa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Flavius Beca got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alessio Mao to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Falkiewicz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Fransson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boruc Furgal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zagórna's Lech Marek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boruc Furgal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wiktor Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Mao, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Alessio Mao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Gniech, 1-2. Zagórna made a substitution. Ziemowit Soszka replaced Daniel Gerlach. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Lucjan Waselewicz replaced Wiktor Falkiewicz. Kania Gostyń's Remigiusz Kazanowski was substituted for Papo Seco. Marian Gniech made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alessio Mao sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Waselewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Marian Gniech made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Milko came free, but Boruc Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kania Gostyń supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kania Gostyń would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
