After 20 played minutes Det Dekadente Borgerskap got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Hatlestad. Arthur Sundgot made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Andreas Strøm sent off a good shot on target. Æn BF's Robert Ensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tore Øvergård in the 31st minute of play. Robert Ensrud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Takle in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Æn BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Dale to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Det Dekadente Borgerskap's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Nygård came free, but Arthur Sundgot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Arthur Sundgot throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jarl Nygård in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tore Øvergård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Takle might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Ensrud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Takle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute Jarl Nygård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Sundgot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Æn BF's Robert Ensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tore Øvergård in the 61st minute of play. When Lars Takle came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Det Dekadente Borgerskap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Takle couldn't finish the play. Tore Øvergård might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Ensrud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tore Øvergård ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute of the match, Hugo Vilhelmsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Ensrud was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andreas Strøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Sundgot came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Æn BF's Jarl Nygård. But to his dismay, Jarl Nygård quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 83rd match minute, Det Dekadente Borgerskap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Ellefsen to maneuver through the defense. When Andreas Strøm came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Æn BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Strøm couldn't finish the play. Andreas Strøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Det Dekadente Borgerskap's Arthur Sundgot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Nygård in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, one of Det Dekadente Borgerskap:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Det Dekadente Borgerskap. Det Dekadente Borgerskap's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
