Ramsaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Geir Nordbø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håvard Due breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håvard Due showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir Nordbø, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alan Tveter charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geir Nordbø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Frode Ulvik in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atle Fjeld saved Ramsaa from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ramsaa's zone, Jan-Frode Ulvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atle Fjeld came out of the goal and Jan-Frode Ulvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Håvard Due successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Tingvoll FC's Håvard Due got control of the ball when Gjøran Helleland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Geir Nordbø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Geir Nordbø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Ramsaa were awarded a corner. Lennart Bergh went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alan Tveter managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Tingvoll FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Henrik Tønnesen hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Tingvoll FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geir Nordbø came free, but Håvard Due reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
