The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Foldnes BF's André Bergstrøm got control of the ball when Runar Skålevik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenneth Hogstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. André Bergstrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodor Andreassen kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Cornelius Marthinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Bergstrøm having to interfere. André Bergstrøm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornelius Marthinsen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Foldnes BF's Mads Vollen got a free kick in the 16th minute. André Bergstrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Marthinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Rune Marthinussen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rösnes BK and the Foldnes BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Foldnes BF booed when Rösnes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Marthinussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julius Djupvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lars-Olav Klæboe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Foldnes BF's Julius Djupvik in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Sem made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Kenneth Hogstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rösnes BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Hogstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenneth Hogstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Bergstrøm having to interfere. If Cornelius Marthinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Julius Djupvik came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Foldnes BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Djupvik couldn't finish the play. After 75 minutes, Ole-Johan Aune mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rösnes BK and the Foldnes BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Sem struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lars-Olav Klæboe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foldnes BF. After a defensive mix-up in Foldnes BF's zone, Cornelius Marthinsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Bergstrøm came out of the goal and Cornelius Marthinsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Bergstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Hogstad in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cornelius Marthinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rösnes BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelius Marthinsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Bergstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rösnes BK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rune Marthinussen hit a great ball. Lars-Olav Klæboe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Sem in the 93rd minute of play. The Foldnes BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
