After having played for 17 minutes, Steffen Pilskog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aal Blackhawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Pilskog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jutlamannen Lærdal's goalkeeper Frank Trøen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aal Blackhawks's Fridtjof Kirkhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Sletten in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Steffen Pilskog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aal Blackhawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Pilskog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fridtjof Kirkhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Mikalsen in the 35th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Nils-Johan Williams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aal Blackhawks and the Jutlamannen Lærdal players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jutlamannen Lærdal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
