Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stian Gjesdal made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Fæn getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sebastian Wergeland hit a great ball. Hans-Erik Hegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Gustavsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans-Erik Hegg ran back to his position shaking his head. Alan Gustavsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Kallestad's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Plankehaugen's zone, Morten Røsvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Sagstuen came out of the goal and Morten Røsvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hans-Erik Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Plankehaugen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Erik Hegg couldn't finish the play. Alan Gustavsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Erik Hegg in the 19th minute of the match. Bernt Øvrelid's late challenge caught a FC Plankehaugen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernt Øvrelid helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fæn's Bernt Øvrelid got a free kick in the 21st minute. Leif Sagstuen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Øvrelid in the 24th minute of play. Alan Gustavsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkon Nordmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Kallestad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Gustavsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Kallestad in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Hans Kallestad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes FC Plankehaugen got a freekick which was hit by Håkon Nordmo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morten Røsvik to strike the kick off in the second half. Alan Gustavsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Dreyer in the 54th minute of the match. The FC Plankehaugen fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FC Plankehaugen's Mathias Dreyer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute Mathias Dreyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Gustavsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Joar Bøhler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Sagstuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Bøhler in the 65th minute of the match. Stian Gjesdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Fæn getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alf-Inge Aarflot hit a great ball. FC Plankehaugen's Stian Gjesdal got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Kallestad took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Gustavsen. Alan Gustavsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Hans Kallestad came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Plankehaugen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Kallestad couldn't finish the play. Stian Gjesdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans Kallestad struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alan Gustavsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Plankehaugen. 95 minutes into the match, FC Plankehaugen's goalkeeper Leif Sagstuen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyrre Svanes. When the referee ended the match the FC Plankehaugen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
