Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johannes Horvei got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Aslak Solstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skagen FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Aslak Solstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Søren Nymoen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarjei Staff during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjetil Seim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Søren Nymoen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Søren Nymoen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngvar Lystad, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gjeving FF's Søren Nymoen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjetil Seim in the 15th minute of play. When Tor-Egil Sara fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gjeving FF's protests and gave Tor-Egil Sara a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gjeving FF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tor-Egil Sara hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjetil Seim in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Søren Nymoen saved Gjeving FF from getting behind. In the 22nd minute of the match, Johannes Horvei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johan Grønlund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johannes Horvei hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Skagen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Horvei came free, but Johan Grønlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kjetil Seim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aslak Solstad came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Skagen FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aslak Solstad couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Kjetil Seim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Søren Nymoen. Gjeving FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjetil Seim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Johannes Horvei's late challenge caught a Skagen FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Horvei helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skagen FF booed when Gjeving FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Horvei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Søren Nymoen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjetil Seim in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Peder Hagelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gjeving FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Skagen FF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Johan Grønlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Egil Sara, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Rune Vikane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Grønlund skillfully saved the ball. Johan Grønlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Hagelund in the 60th minute of play. Johannes Horvei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Hagelund in the 64th minute of play forced Skagen FF's goalkeeper Johan Grønlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Skagen FF's Henrik Juvik seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henrik Juvik the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Skagen FF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henrik Juvik had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skagen FF! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Gjeving FF. Rune Vikane stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johan Grønlund. 2-2. Johan Grønlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Hagelund in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Yngvar Lystad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Søren Nymoen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngvar Lystad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gjeving FF's Søren Nymoen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aslak Solstad in the 91st minute of play. Johan Grønlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Horvei in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Skagen FF got a freekick which was hit by Aslak Solstad. 97 minutes into the match, Skagen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Horvei came free, but Johan Grønlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Grønlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Egil Sara in the 101st minute of the match.
