Theodor Sandersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Rørtveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Christian Gulbrandsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Theodor Sandersen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thor Rørtveit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Theodor Sandersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thor Rørtveit to strike the kick off in the second half. Thor Rørtveit dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Theodor Sandersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Rørtveit in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Tasta IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Gjertsen to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Thor Rørtveit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Theodor Sandersen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Christian Gulbrandsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vallabotn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Thor Rørtveit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Christian Gulbrandsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodor Sandersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Ole-Martin Øwre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Theodor Sandersen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Gulbrandsen charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Gulbrandsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vallabotn's Christian Gulbrandsen got a free kick in the 79th minute. Theodor Sandersen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tage Tomter's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Thor Rørtveit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theodor Sandersen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Thor Rørtveit put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Theodor Sandersen. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vallabotn fully deserved thier win.
