After having played for 37 minutes, Johannes Josdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tasta IL's zone, Gaute Rosseland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodor Sandersen came out of the goal and Gaute Rosseland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tasta IL's Theodor Sandersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Josdal in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Solbergfoss BF booed when Tasta IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Bjerke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Josdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Fotland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theodor Sandersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Josdal in the 66th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Johannes Josdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theodor Sandersen. Tasta IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Josdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Johan Fotland kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Theodor Sandersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Josdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gaute Rosseland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Sandersen having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Christoffer Bjerke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Josdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasta IL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
