Alexander Winsnes charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Winsnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Winsnes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes of play, Princeton University's Storm Bergmann made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kåre Zakariassen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kåre Zakariassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Storm Bergmann in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Morten Næsheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Princeton University's supporters rose to their feet, but Morten Næsheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Zakariassen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Princeton University's Morten Næsheim got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kåre Zakariassen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Næsheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Morten Næsheim came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Princeton University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morten Næsheim couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tor-Magnus Alexandersen was the one to do the kick off. Kåre Zakariassen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Storm Bergmann in the 52nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, CSKA Svartskaillj's goalkeeper Kåre Zakariassen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morten Næsheim. 66 minutes into the match, Aleksander Kvinnesland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kåre Zakariassen, 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor-Magnus Alexandersen during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes CSKA Svartskaillj got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Magnus Alexandersen. 75 minutes into the match, CSKA Svartskaillj's goal looked a bit too open when Storm Bergmann came free, but Kåre Zakariassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aleksander Kvinnesland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, CSKA Svartskaillj's goalkeeper Kåre Zakariassen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morten Næsheim. Morten Næsheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kåre Zakariassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Aker hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Storm Bergmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Princeton University played a much better game than CSKA Svartskaillj and deserved their victory. The CSKA Svartskaillj players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
