Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Stølsvigen's Joachim Kulseth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filip Mikkelborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Andreas Nøttveit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Stølsvigen's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Aaland came free, but Ole Melbye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bent Brenden in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole Melbye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Godøysund's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Kulseth came free, but Andreas Nøttveit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Daniel Aaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Melbye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Kulseth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andreas Nøttveit came out and tried to block the shot, but Joachim Kulseth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Jon-Egil Solum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Andreas Nøttveit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bent Brenden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Melbye having to interfere. Bent Brenden might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole Melbye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bent Brenden ran back to his position shaking his head. Ole Melbye came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Godøysund's Bent Brenden. But to his dismay, Bent Brenden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ole Melbye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Aaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Joachim Kulseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andreas Nøttveit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon-Egil Solum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bent Brenden made a kick off. If Bent Brenden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stølsvigen's zone, Daniel Aaland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Melbye came out of the goal and Daniel Aaland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Aaland in the 67th minute of play forced Stølsvigen's goalkeeper Ole Melbye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ole Melbye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Brenden, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 77th minute, Joachim Kulseth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stølsvigen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Daniel Aaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Kulseth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Nøttveit having to interfere. Ole Melbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Einar Førde in the 93rd minute of play. Jon-Egil Solum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Andreas Nøttveit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stølsvigen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
