In the 18th minute of the match Josef Bergli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remi Berg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gisløy's goalkeeper Remi Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Hans Sandvold made a precise shot to the right of Ole Melbye. Stølsvigen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stølsvigen's Ole Melbye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Sandvold in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Stølsvigen's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Sandvold came free, but Ole Melbye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Fardal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Stølsvigen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gisløy were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Sandvold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andreas Hareide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ole Melbye made a huge save. Andreas Hareide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Melbye having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Hareide couldn't finish the play. Remi Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Kulseth in the 68th minute of play. Hans Sandvold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gisløy's Remi Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kulseth in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Stølsvigen booed when Gisløy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Fardal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon-Egil Solum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Berg having to interfere. In the 85th minute Joachim Kulseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remi Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Kulseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jon-Egil Solum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
