During the 35th minute of the match Severin Høie completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severin Høie a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 35th match minute, Raagrend IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severin Høie to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Raagrend IF's Andreas Sagbakken got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. In the 62nd minute, one of Raagrend IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Raagrend IF. The goalkeeper, Lars-Olav Sørhus, was totally fooled by Hammeren's Arild Rekdal, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lars-Olav Sørhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Michaelsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjørn Josefsen couldn't finish the play.
